David Bellatalla is an Italian anthropologist originally from La Spezia, whose life and work are deeply connected to Mongolia, where he currently resides. He has been personally involved in humanitarian projects, combining commitment, generosity, and practical action. His in-depth research on Mongolian culture has resulted in a number of well-regarded publications, both religious (SSciamanesimo e Sacro tra i Buriati della Mongolia) and anthropological (ssatan, gli Uomini renna della Mongolia, co-authored with Federico Pistone), along with various articles and essays contributing to the broader understanding of Mongolian society.

Gabriele Battaglia is a journalist and correspondent based in Beijing, specialized in China and Mongolia. He has worked for PeaceReporter, E – Emergency’s Monthly Magazine, and served as director of China Files. He is the author of several reports, books, and documentaries, and collaborates with Radio Popolare and various other Italian and international outlets.
